River Clarke


River is an associate in our employment team. She advises both employers and individuals across all stages of the employment relationship from recruitment to termination. This includes day-to-day HR matters, handbook policies discrimination, redundancies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts and settlement agreements. River regularly advises on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

River has experience of Employment Tribunals and High Court litigation.

She has a particular interest in advising clients on implementing inclusive work practices and has advised clients on establishing workplace diversity committees. River sits on the Employment Lawyers Association Race Equality Committee and is an active member of the Stephenson Harwood Diversity and Inclusion networks, co-chairing the firm's race and ethnic diversity network.

River qualified in England and Wales in March 2022.
